Jesus loves children! He welcomed them, spent time with them, and valued them.

So we want to love and welcome children, too!  Therefore, on Sunday mornings, children are welcome (but not required) to be a part of Citylight Kids – an age-appropriate ministry for children ages 6 months - 5th grade.

Purpose of Citylight Kids

Citylight Kids’ purpose is to multiply disciples of Jesus among young children and their families. Studies show that most children’s permanent view of God is formed by age 5, and also show that 85% of those who accept Christ do so between the ages of 4 and 14.  Matthew 19:14-16 says, ” ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.’ And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.”
